happenings february 5th - february 11th. Feb 5th: city council meeting at 7PM. February 5th - Studio 6 Bistro's first monday open. Feb 5th: Stuffed animal sleepover at the wilson public library at 5:30PM. We'll read a story and make a craft with your favorite stuffed animal (or second favorite stuffed animal if the favorite is needed at home to get through the night). Leave them overnight at the library and they'll have a sleepover party just for stuffed animals. Feb 7th - join the wilson public library from 4:30 to 6PM as we create wax paper hearts in the conference room. Stop in at any point during that time to make as many as you'd like, but leave some with us for our outdoor event. Feb 9th: Post office setup at the Wilson Public Library during storytime at 11AM. Happenings January 29th - February 4th. Jan 30th - Armchair Travels at the wilson public library at 5:30PM, HaLea messersmith will share photographs and stories of her many visits to Ireland. Feb 1st- movie matinee at the wilson public library at 1:30PM. Free popcorn! Children under 8 need to attend witha chaperone. Feb 2nd - Valentine Card Making at the wilson public library at 1:30 for some valentine card making (no school for CCS). There will be a variety of materials on hand for you to craft your cards. If you want to make some for your classmates, be sure to know how many before you arrive. Feb 2nd - Souper Bowl cookoff at the cozad grand generation center from 5:30PM to 7PM. $5 will include a sample of all soups, a full bowl of soup, a pie/ice cream sundaee bar and one vote. They Haymaker creative district is accepting designs to be used as a window wrap at th entry way of our office. this is notlimited to graphic design, any medium can be scanned and turned into this mural like display, drawings, paintings. etc. We are so excited to see the creative things you come up with, chosen design will receive $200 Cozd Chamber Cash. Cozad Cash - Support Local - Shop Cozad. Cozad Cash can be used at participating chamber businesses as if they were cash, keeping money circulating in the local economy. Purpose: Strengthen our local economy. Support Future Growth in Cozad. Policy: Must be spent at Cozad Chamber Businesses. An up to date list can be found on the Cozad Chamber website or by calling the Cozad Chamber Office. The entire $5 or $10 amount stated on each check must be spent, no change back, as the purpose is to keep those monies ciruclating through Cozad.
